「煮嘢嘅人」。喺 hip-hop 入面 "cook" 係雙關：原本指煮毒品（crack），引申為喺 studio 度整緊正嘢（整緊 hit 歌）。Chef 就係嗰個「煮緊好嘢」嘅人。由街頭用語 "cooking up" 演變，經 trap 音樂同 meme 文化發揚。
